From Soho clubs, to exclusive London rooftop bars and prestigious beach clubs in Dubai, Stef Jay has a passion for House music, and is fast become a staple in the London nightlife scene. She’s performed for some of the capital’s most prevalent club nights and venues inlcuding; Hed Kandi, Ministry of Sound, Pacha, Pukka Up, Sushi Samba, Notting Hill Carnival, and Raindance to name a few. Currently a resident DJ for one of London’s most luxurious rooftop bars ‘Wagtail’, she transitions seamlessly from the mellow grooves of soulful sunset sessions to the energetic beats of uplifting vocal house. In 2023 Stef joined London's leading female DJ collective 'Sisters of House' and has since played for them at the infamous brunch and supper club nights at Skinny Kitchen, 'Casa de Samba' at the world renowned Sushi Samba and the Ministry of Sound Club.  

Stef’s club sets are a musical journey through the heart of Tribal, Tech & Bass House. With a penchant for deep, rolling basslines, chunky rhythms and hands-in-the-air vocals. each track is perfectly chosen to keep the energy high, whether she's playing at an intimate club or festival.

Where it all began: Stef was born and raised in the picturesque landscapes of North Devon, she cut her teeth on vinyl records and underground raves across the South West in her late teens. The next 10 years seen Stef securing residencies with local hard dance and DnB club nights, as well as starting her own charity dance event  ‘Rave for Life’ in aid of Cancer Research UK. Before long, she was being booked to play in London on a regular basis, so she packed her bags and relocated to the capital in 2013 to pursue her DJ career. Within 3 months she dove head-first into the House music scene by landing a guest set for Hed Kandi. The rest is history as they say.

 

 As 2024 unfolds Stef’s calendar sees her continue her rooftop residencies, East End clubs, festivals, a few more events in Dubai later in the year and a deeper journey into music production. With 22 years DJing experience, her story is one of relentless passion and the pursuit of chasing your dreams
